HELP

A little help with Patches.

Short answers for invited testers. If something behaves differently from this guide, tell us—the details help us fix it.

Getting started

Open your invitation, sign in, choose a Ready patch and follow its setup steps. Review imported information before relying on it.

The three Ready apps

Subscription Tracker

Connect a supported mailbox, let Patches find relevant recurring-charge emails, review the vendors and dates, and add anything it missed.

Document Vault

Import a document from your device or an available file connection. Add the owner, document type and important dates, then enable reminders if offered.

Health Record

Add dated health notes, appointments, medication changes and incidents, then attach supporting documents. It organises information; it does not provide medical advice.

Connect or reconnect an account

Choose Gmail or Outlook for email, and Google Drive or OneDrive for files. Approve the provider permission screen. If an import stops working, open the patch’s connection settings and reconnect the specific service. A Google or Microsoft sign-in does not automatically enable all of that provider’s services.

Use Patches on a phone

Open Patches in Safari or Chrome from your invitation. Use your browser’s “Add to Home Screen” option if you want an app-like icon. There is no App Store or Play Store download during tester access.

Notifications

Allow browser notifications when prompted if you want reminders. If reminders stop, check both the patch settings and your phone’s browser notification settings.

Import problems

Check that the correct service is connected and the source item is readable. Reconnect if permission expired, then try again. Keep the original document or email until you have checked the imported result.

Disconnect, export or delete

Disconnecting stops future source access; it does not remove imported data. Where export is shown in the app, save a copy before deleting. Delete the patch—or your account—to request removal of its data. See the Privacy Policy for retention details and open questions.

Report a problem or share feedback

Include the patch name, what you expected, what happened, your device/browser and a screenshot without sensitive information.
